Description
If you are a Clapton fan, you probably don’t have this video of one of the best shows in Japan. The tour of Japan this year included 11 shows nationwide, and the two-day concert with Jeff Beck in Saitama was an epoch-making event that not only made Clapton famous, but also made a name for himself in the history of Western music. This performance was the ninth show on the tour, and the fifth of six at the Budokan. The show, which was full of overwhelming power and unique groove, performed by Clapton’s right-hand man Doyle Bramhall II and Paul Band’s Av Laborial Jr., was a great listen from start to finish. It seems like it was just the other day, but it’s actually been eight years since then… Please enjoy the charm of the 2009 live show, which was also a culmination of Clapton’s history in Japan, on this disc tonight.
