Description

The impact of the leaked soundboard sound source of Eric Clapton’s Japan tour started here! Introducing the monumental INTO THE FIRE, a complete recording of the Budokan performance in October 1993 on a super high-quality soundboard. 1993 began with the reunion of the rock hall of fame Cream, the annual Albert Hall consecutive performances with the first all-blues set list, and the Grammy Award winning Tears in Heaven, so it could be said that the only live tour was the Japan tour. The first half started with a super cool blues, and the Grammy Award winning effect made the couple accompanied by the older sister a little scared! When he switched to a white Stratocaster and White Room started, the venue was filled with an air of relief. I was surprised by the cover of Jimi Hendrix’s Stone Free (I was making a Jimi Hendrix memorial album, so I recorded Midnight Lamp and Stone Free) and was also impressed by the feedback. Tears In Heaven was a huge cheer, contrary to the content of the song, as it won a Grammy Award. From this time on, he gained a new fan base, so much so that he became the Clapton of Tears In Heaven, not the Clapton of Layla. Core fans were in tears to hear Circus live. The intense playing of Graoning The Blues, Bessie Smith’s Ain’t Nobody Business with its impressive count before the solo, and the last one, Layla, which you can’t miss! It was a really good live show. Eric’s playing was excellent and stable throughout the whole album. Oh, and the drummer was Richie Hayward of Little Feat. (It’s very rare, as it was only released in 1993.) This is a masterpiece that fans who have not yet heard this precious recording should definitely listen to. CD1 tk01….. MALTED MILK tk02…..
