The first day of the 2010 European tour, the Birmingham performance on May 18th, was recorded completely over 2 hours and 13 minutes with a superb level of high quality audience recording. The definitive version using the original DAT master directly, which is not available among traders at all. While following the flow of the set of last year’s joint tour, which directed the show peak with Had To Cry Today, Presence Of The Lord, and Can’t Find My Way Home from the Blind Faith era, many original set numbers are performed with new selections such as The Shape I’m In, Glad, Midland Maniac, and Going Down. After Midnight is also played in the third song. Not only the band part with plenty of sound pressure, but also the acoustic set following Drifting Blues, How Long, Layla, and Can’t Find My Way Home in the middle are recorded very clearly and are full of listening points. Although Little Wing is out of the set, you can enjoy the amazing long solo play in the 16-minute Voodoo Chile. The main set closing and encore are Cocaine and Dear Mr. Fantasy, just like last year’s tour. From the opening Had To Cry Today, you can enjoy a direct sound with a full scale that does not feel the sound of the large venue, but the sound quality seems to improve more and more, and the second half of the show is recorded with the highest quality sound possible. The balance and texture of the sound are both at the highest peak. The separation is also superb, and you can enjoy the amazing sound throughout the whole show. Anyway, the musical sounds recorded in Ultra Clear are superb, there are almost no parts in the song that are disturbed by audience noise, and there is no trace of the digital smell that is often attached to the ears, so fans can enjoy a blissful 2 hours and 13 minutes. In terms of sound quality, it is the best of the UK TOUR 2010. The sound quality and performance content are superb.
