The 1985 US tour, June 25, Saratoga Springs, New York performance, was recorded in full for 1 hour and 43 minutes on a stereo sound board sound source that was recently unearthed by a related party. Although this is a sound source that has been distributed in the past, the balance with the venue is a little strange because it was recorded from the original master and mixed at the venue’s PA desk, but the liveliness of the sound is far superior to the broadcast sound source because it is a master. And it was the second leg of the “Behind the Sun” tour, and Clapton’s guitar solo was more aggressive and thrilling than ever before, and the opening two songs with sharp slide play, the solo at the end of “I Shot The Sheriff” was also speedy, and the following “Same Old Blues” was already high tension at once. Furthermore, the solo of “White Room” is always hot, with the wah pedal pressed down like in the Cream era, and the high-speed slow-hand playing is explosive in “Tangled In Love”, “Badge” and “Let It Rain”. The solo at the end of “Layla” is full of energy. And the solo ends with “Further On Up The Road”, where all the members have solos, and this is one of Clapton’s peak performances in the best quality.
