Description
Eric Clapton is one of the most prolific artists. When you become such a big name, there are periods when you take a break, but he is a rare figure who has consistently released works from the 1960s to the present. After playing guitar in various bands, he released his solo album in 1970. His vocals, which were somewhat thin in his first solo album “ERIC CLAPTON,” have matured with each album. His next album, “461 Ocean Boulevard,” released in 1974, became a number one hit in the United States and is still considered Eric’s masterpiece. A cover of Bob Marley’s “I Shot The Sheriff” was released as a single from this album, and it also became a number one hit in the United States. Encouraged by this success, Eric incorporated reggae extensively into his next album, “I Can’t Stop.” The album “No Reason to Cry” was released in 1976. The reggae style of the previous album was toned down, and the album was more of a light rock style based on blues, with plenty of female choruses and a strong pop feel. The album was recorded at Shangri-La Studios in California. The open climate of Malibu, where the sunshine is drenched, is strongly reflected in the work. This studio was owned by The Band, and the album was recorded with members of The Band, as well as Bob Dylan, Ron Wood, Billy Preston, and other luxurious guests born from the glamorous interactions of the time. Although the album was not a huge hit, it recorded sales that exceeded those of the previous album. This work contains the recording session recording of “No Reason to Cry”. “Sign Language” is a song provided by Bob Dylan, and here Dylan’s vocals are more prominent than Eric’s. Eric is also a great vocalist, but he has to take a step back in front of Dylan’s presence. During the same period, Dylan himself recorded the famous song “Stupid Wind” from “Blood on the Tracks”. The photo on the front is a different take, and the photo on the back jacket of Eric standing next to Ron Wood shows that they were taken on the same day, based on Eric’s outfit. This title includes all the remaining recordings from the “NO REASON TO CRY” session, which was recorded with a variety of guests. DISC ONE ERIC CLAPTON 01. Sign Language 02. All Our Past Time 03.
