Description

The 7th performance from the North American tour when “There’s One In Every Crowd” was released in 1975, the performance in Detroit on July 1st, is recorded in the highest quality ever based on the newly excavated good audience sound source. Since the opening part and two songs “Can’t Find My Way Home” and “Teach Me To Be Your Woman” were cut, only those parts were supplemented with the sound source. Anyway, the newly excavated new source was of amazing quality at the time, and the whole thing was remastered, reproducing the precious live performance at the beginning of the tour with the best sound. Starting with “Motherless Children”, Cream number “Door to Heaven”, etc., it is a period when the band ensemble became stronger from the previous year’s too laid back performance. Carlos Santana, who also performed as the opening act that day, joined in on the last encore song, “Eyesight To The Blind,” and engaged in a heated guitar battle for over 20 minutes. Three months later, Santana also performed in Japan for the second time, following the previous year, and the set is also close, so this is a must-listen item for fans. DISC 1 : 01. Introduction/02.
