Description
The first day of the familiar Royal Albert Hall performances in London, which were held for seven days from May 14th during the 2015 Celebrate Tour, Clapton’s 70th birthday, was recorded in full for 1 hour and 55 minutes using high-quality audience shots recently released by the photographer. Although this was shot with one camera, the shot from the second floor stand on the right side of the stage captures the entire stage without any obstacles, and the camera can be seen not only in close-ups of Clapton, but also in the members taking solos. And when the acoustic set began, the entire venue sang “Happy Birthday” to celebrate his 70th birthday, a scene befitting a celebration, and Clapton’s tension was even higher with the excitement unique to his hometown, including a wah-wah solo in the early part of “Pretending”, a sharp solo in “I Shot The Sheriff”, and a tremendous solo in the final part of “Little Queen Of Spades”. “Let it Rain”, which has not been played in recent years, was also wonderful, and the first day of the celebration performance in his hometown of London, where the whole show can be said to be a highlight, was the best quality.
