Description

Here is a 4CD that combines two soundboard live performances from the 2006 Japan tour. First of all, the already legendary 2006 Japan performance, which lasted about a month, had audience sound sources each day, but on the 11th day, the only Hokkaido performance was the show at Sapporo Dome on November 26th. This work is a complete recording of the Saitama Super Arena performance on December 2nd, the 14th day, with a stereo soundboard sound source that was later leaked by the people involved. First of all, the guitar is a triple guitar formation with Doyle Bramhall II and Derek Trucks, who is now said to be the best in slide guitar, the rhythm section is Willie Weeks and Steve Jordan, and the keyboard is an ally. Chris Stinton and Tim Carmon. The nine-member band, including two female backing choruses, has some of the best voices of all time, and being able to listen to those two performances in official quality is a truly blissful item. Both performances are in the second half of the tour, and the set list and song order have changed considerably from the beginning.First, in the acoustic set in Sapporo, “Driftin’ Blues” was replaced with “When You’ve Got A Good Friend.” is set in. Of course, the other two guitarists are also in top form, with Derek’s slide guitar, Doyle’s unique guitar work, and the triple slide on “Motherless Children” all worth listening to. Also, although the set had 16 songs and was the smallest day of the Japan tour, it was the first Sapporo performance in a long time, so the excitement was tremendous, especially “Layla” and “Cocaine” where the audience sang in chorus. The excitement of the arena. The setlist for the Saitama performance was the same as the previous Budokan performance on the 30th, but on this day too, the second song was an electric version of “Key To The Highway,” which had been included in the acoustic set for the first half of the tour. You can also listen to “Rambling On My Mind”, and in addition, the rare number “Outside Woman Blues”, which is the only remaining live recording from the Cream era, is also played regularly. Furthermore, “Layla”, in which the three guitarists exploded all at once, is a wonderful take that can be called the best of all time. Therefore, even in this 18-performance Japan tour, there are 2 performances with many highlights, and 4 CDs with wonderful content.
