A direct CDR version of the US compilation white label promo version released in 1973. All of the songs on this album are excerpts from the original album, and listening to “LAYLA” and the first solo is enough, but the vintage sound that sounds like an analog drop, which you can’t get on current CDs, is a real treat. . A promo board with an impressive round white sticker indicating PROMOTION COPY and the red letter CLAPTON affixed to the front. It’s also fun to directly enjoy a unique selection of songs that was only possible in the early 70’s, with the texture of the time. In fact, when I was playing a test playback, I found myself listening intently, thinking, “This analog-like texture feels somehow nostalgic.” Since it was digitized directly from the master, there are some scratch noises, but this is a unique project that you can fully enjoy, including the impressive Clapton jacket.
