Eric Clapton/Celebration of Robbie Robertson CA,USA 2024 Complete

After the 2024 tour ends, Clapton will host his final Robbie Robertson memorial event of the year, “Life is a Carnival/Music Celebration of Robbie Robertson,” at the Los Angeles Forum on October 17th. Only five songs from Clapton’s performance there will be recorded in full in high-quality audience recording. The interesting set list is Clapton’s own tribute to Robbie, and while it would seem that it would naturally be all Robbie’s band songs, “Further on up the Road” was also played, as it was a number that Clapton and Robbie performed together at The Band’s breakup memorial concert “The Last Waltz” in 1976. In addition, “The Shape I’m In” features Richard Manuel on vocals, and has been played several times on past tours, and “Chest Fever” features Garth Hudson, a number that Clapton performed on stage with the band in 1974.
