Description
On the second day of the LA performance, which is said to be the final chapter of Eric Clapton’s career, we will release the sound source of the recently held September 15th at a high speed! Recently, our shop released the MSG consecutive performances on September 7th and 8th, which are the previous section, from the super high quality original master, but this time it will be released from the audience master that was quickly uploaded to the Internet. Why from the net master? Yes, because the sound quality is heavy, clear and wonderful stereo recording. If our shop, which released the MSG performance for two days from the selected master, judges that it is comparable to the quality of MSG, we will release it from the net master. Please rest assured about this quality. This LA performance was scheduled for four performances on September 13th, 15th, 16th and 18th. The latter two days were rescheduled performances for the ones canceled in March due to illness. It is rumored among Clapton enthusiasts in the United States that Clapton will really retire from the tour this time with these four performances in LA. Will we be able to listen to Clapton’s live performances anymore? That is still unknown. However, if that is the case, I would like fans, or rather rock fans, to listen to this recording as well. The set list was the same as the previous MSG performance, but the good news is that, like MSG, Clapton’s guitarist Jimmie Vaughan and Gary Clark Jr., an up-and-coming black guitarist who admires Clapton, appeared and performed together during the encore. The quality of the stage performance was as high as that of MSG. The solo at the end of the opening Somebody’s Knocking is safely overcame. The rock-solid performance continues in Key To The Highway, and when you listen to it with peace of mind, a sharp solo explodes in Hoochie Coochie Man! This is something you should definitely listen to. And the postlude of the number I Shot the Sheriff, which is the touchstone of every stage, is much more songful than the MSG performance, where they struggled to compose the phrases, and the boldness of cutting the chords in the final part of the excitement shows. After a thorough acoustic set, he wakes up the audience with the hard number White Room from his Cream days. As I’ve said many times before, Clapton’s wah playing is very tasteful and good! After that, he keeps going with this momentum. Clapton is not sluggish in either Crossroads or Cocaine. Wow, Clapton is doing well! I don’t think he’s retiring after this, and I don’t want to think so. Please take this album to imprint the great guitarist’s brave figure in your mind. This time, it was released two weeks after the concert. Live at the Forum, Inglewood, CA. USA 15th September 2017 PERFECT SOUND Disc 1 (54:50) 1. Intro. 2. Somebody Knocking 3. Key To The Highway 4.
