Description

Get the official promotional acetate (CD) containing the last-minute stage rehearsal (gene production) for the “PILGRIM Japan Tour” held in 1999! We will provide valuable sound sources as items, in which all songs are performed completely with the same enthusiasm as the actual performance. Eric Clapton’s “Pilgrim Japan Tour” began on November 9, 1999. An official promotion distributed by Warner Europe that includes a complete stereo soundboard recording of the general production (rehearsal in an actual hall with no audience) that was held in Los Angeles on November 4th just before that, assuming the Japan tour. It’s acetate. All of the representative songs that were scheduled to be performed on the Japan tour were performed with the same excitement as the actual performance. There are 10 to 30 seconds of silence between each song, assuming that an interview will be inserted during the radio broadcast, but in reality there is a silent section between the songs before the performance that is not included on the previously released edition that contains the original sound source. Sound check sound is included as a line. Each one lasts for a few seconds, but it can be said to be a very important record of the sound produced. Including that, you can listen to it in a completely unprocessed state. Naturally, the band members were the same as on the Japan tour, with Dave Delorme, who only supported this tour, serving as the keyboard, and this was the last tour for the backing vocalist Tessa Niles and Katie Kissoon. As for the set list, on the first day of the tour it was a long one, with blues songs like Reconsider Baby and Old Love, and before you accuse me in the encore, but as the tour progressed, the band became more tired and due to time constraints. Inside, these numbers started to fall. Therefore, Reconsider Baby was being rehearsed at this point, and it is valuable to be able to listen to this song. A notable feature of this tour was the inclusion of Clapton’s longtime supporter, second guitarist Andy Fairweather Rowe, on his hit song Gin House. As a reward for his years of hard work, I entrusted him with one song with trust, but in the middle there is a point where you can hear Clapton taking over the leading role with a tremendous solo. On the other hand, from Andy’s point of view, he probably entrusted Clapton with the solo because of his trust. The sources of the songs performed are: PILGRIM (2 songs), My Father’s Eyes / She’s Gone LAYLA AND OTHER ASSORTED LOVESONGS (2 songs), Bell Bottom Blues / Layla (the second half of the piano coda is not included), SLOWHAND (1 song)・Cocaine single hit songs (2 songs) ・Tears In Heaven/Change The World Blues (3 songs) ・Hoochie Coochie Man / Reconsider Baby /Ramblin’ On My Mind Others (1 song) ・Gin House*Andy Fairweather Rowe The solo number is like this. Featuring the latest and most important work at the time, “PILGRIM,” this delicious selection includes hits from Clapton’s famous albums “LAYLA…” and “SLOWHAND,” single hits, and blues, a representative repertoire. It can be said to be Clapton’s “best” at this point. Since it is an official recording, there is no problem in terms of sound quality. This is a valuable sound source that was distributed only as a promotional acetate. We hope you enjoy this along with the title of the 1999 Japan Tour. The longest content including previously released and unreleased sound check sounds.
