Currently, the professional shot video and sound source of this day are released as a half-official DVD & CD work of the European version, but this board uses a master of higher quality than that. Both the image quality and sound quality have been uniquely mastered, achieving a two-rank upgrade. Speaking of 1988, it was the year that marked the 25th anniversary of Clapton’s debut, and a commemorative world tour was carried out. To celebrate this, Dire Straits’ ally guitarist Mark Knopfler and keyboardist Alan Clarke participated as special guests, and the band was composed of a luxurious and skilled lineup that also employed the British leading percussionist Jody Linscott. The Tokyo Dome performance of the Japan tour that took place from October to November was also broadcast on satellite television at the time, but the songs were significantly cut and edited there, so this board still reigns as the representative work of this year’s commemorative world tour.
