Description

We have obtained an exclusive video of the complete miraculous collaboration between Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan! This time, we have obtained an uncut, high-quality pro shot of the full set with Bob Dylan, who was the headliner, and the encore with Dylan at the “Crossroads Concert” held at Madison Square Garden in New York on June 30, 1999 to raise funds for the “Crossroads Center,” a treatment facility for drug and alcohol addiction built in Antigua Bambuta in the Caribbean. This is a very valuable video that will be released completely for the first time! This concert was later officially released as a video work, but because there were so many luxurious guests who participated, the sets of each guest were edited short and compiled into a total work of 108 minutes. Therefore, even though six songs were actually played, only two songs from the set with Dylan were included in the official work: Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right and Crossroads. Finally, we can deliver the complete version of Clapton & Dylan’s set on this board. The quality of the image is of course high, and the sound is also of the official stereo sound board. In fact, as you will notice, the two songs already recorded on the official video have completely different cuts from this board. In the official video, the audience watching the stage was often shown, but this board does not contain that scene at all, and it is a different edited version that captures Clapton and Dylan’s stage from start to finish. As a fan of the two, it is natural that you would prefer a shot that captures the stage from start to finish rather than the audience being shown many times during the performance. And even in the performance scene, the angle of the cut itself during the song is different from the official video. In other words, this video is considered to be one of the masters of the production process of the official work. At the time, this is the best video that conveys the set of Clapton and Dylan, which was the biggest topic as a co-star of the century and the highlight of this concert, without leaving anything out. What’s interesting is that while Dylan’s guitar was mixed in a somewhat subdued way in the official video, Dylan’s guitar is mixed prominently in this version. Therefore, the “unique chord-decomposed lead guitar and rhythm guitar intermediate play” that Dylan started to play around this time is captured throughout the entire video. Fans will be happy to see that Dylan, who sometimes plays in a blunt manner with mistones, was actually in a surprisingly good mood. David Sanborn (saxophone) and Sheryl Crow (vocals and accordion) also participated in the last encore, giving a glimpse of the glamorous concert. This is a video that Clapton and Dylan fans who have the official video should watch. There will be no fans of the two who are not satisfied with this. This is a rare quality, content and quality.
