Description
This recording of the March 31st, 1973 Euro Tour in Düsseldorf, Germany, lasted 1 hour and 39 minutes, taken from a good audience master that had been released by taper in recent years. First of all, even before the recording of “Fear of Brain Reform”, “Karn Evil 9 (First Impression)” and “Toccata” were performed on this day, and this is the oldest live performance on record. Both songs are prototypes before they were recorded in the studio, so the arrangements are different and the performance is somewhat unstable, and “Karn Evil 9” in particular is interrupted halfway through, but it is a rare and valuable record.
