Costello’s early radio show live with The Attractions is recorded as a coupling of soundboard recordings from the broadcast master. Both are from the winter 1978 US tour. Disc 1 is the performance at the Paramount Theater in Seattle on February 10th, and Disc 2 is the performance at the Longhorn in Minneapolis on February 14th, recorded in high quality sound using a pre-FM master, just before the release of “THIS YEARS MODEL” in preparation for his first visit to Japan in November of that year. The set list, which consists only of songs from the first album “MY AIM IS TRUE” and the second album, has some changes on both days, and the speedy performance that is unique to the early days is refreshing, so it is a must-listen for fans.
