Description
After the release of his ambitious work “THE DELIVERY MAN”, which skillfully blends the country music that he has been exploring for many years, Costello led the Imposters on a world tour in 2005. The first half is 10 songs from the live performance at the “Parkpop Festival” held in The Hague, Netherlands on June 26th, and the second half is 8 songs from the performance in Austin, Texas on March 16th of the North American tour of the same year, both of which are recorded from soundboard sources for FM broadcasting. Although both are broadcast sources and highlights are recorded, Costello is full of rock as if he had returned to his Attractions days, and his performance seems to wipe away his recent adult image, shouting while playing the Telecaster, and his rock and roller style is reminiscent of his debut. Therefore, the set list is a series of numbers that are said to be masterpieces from his early days, including the rare cover “You Really Got A Hold On Me”, and it is a great gem for old fans who like Costello’s “Armed Forces”! 01.
