This recording was made at Long Beach, California on August 14, 1977, and is a complete recording of the performance two days later, different from the analog bootleg masterpiece “Live at Long Beach Arena ’77” (August 12 performance). This 1977 tour, which was a hot topic for its live performance with an orchestra, is now a valuable record of the trio’s performance without an orchestra.
