ECM fans will be drooling for the first time, with the release of a high-quality recording of the master recording of a live performance in which the leading members of the ECM label appeared together at Village Gate, one of New York’s leading jazz clubs. Ta. A beautiful guitar duo live performance by both guitarists Ralph Towner and John Abercrombie, a melancholy piano solo by Steve Kuhn, and a rhythm composed by Miles Band alumni Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette. This is a rare live recording of ECM’s signature artist, including a stage performance in which Colin Wolcott, a member of the jazz group Oregon, joined the band. The important sound quality is also recorded from a live broadcast by a local FM station in New York, and the clear sound image is an astonishing sound quality. The last two songs will be performed live by Gateway Trio, and will be a wonderful live performance that ECM fans will be able to listen to for a long time.
