Rainer Brüninghaus, Weber’s right-hand man and a piano/keyboard player who currently supports Jan Garbarek, has been active since the 1940s and is known for collaborating with Charles Mingus and others, and in the 1970s he was a member of German progressive rock. Charlie Mariano, a saxophone/flute player who is famous for his participation in the group Embryo and his work in jazz and rock music, and Danny, who was the drummer for the early Pat Metheny Group and is said to be a set drummer with the world’s best stick skills. The live performance at WDR in Cologne, Germany, held on February 5, 1977 at the time of the release of Colors’ second masterpiece “Silent Feet” by Colors, led by Weber and Gottlieb, was recorded with the label’s own careful technique. An item completely recorded over 70 minutes on a mastered high-quality stereo soundboard.
