Description
From the US tour after the release of the immortal album “Hotel California”, which represents 70’s rock, the live performance in Houston, Texas on November 6, 1976, is recorded in master quality and soundboard sound source on 2CD. First of all, it is the only soundboard sound source from this tour, and while there is also a pro shot video on this day, the opening “HOTEL CALIFORNIA” has image and sound disturbances and is unstable, whereas this soundboard source is of perfect quality until the end. Also, at the end of “THE BEST OF MY LOVE”, be sure to check out the jump-in of ally J.D. Souther and the birthday live of the late Glenn Frey. From the opening guitar intro, the live performance is sure to be a moving one for longtime fans, and while it mainly features classic songs from the album, it also includes rare segments featuring Glenn Frey’s vocal numbers, early country numbers, and a solo by Joe Walsh, who had just joined the band.It is a set that could only be achieved at this time, and it shows the Eagles’ best performance as they transformed into a monster band, at their best quality.
