Description
From the 2017 Japan tour, here is a title that is a complete recording of the performance at Nippon Budokan on September 11th, which deserves to be called a highlight, recorded by IEM matrix recording. First of all, the live performance on that day is a full matrix of the line sound source from the uncompressed multi-ear monitor source for monitoring used by the band members on stage, and the digital audience master from the front row. In recent years, in addition to the dramatic evolution of sound factors such as the equipment used and mastering environment, the sound of each member is also positioned with a perfect mix by professional use, and the quality is exactly at the level of a stereo sound board sound source. And this visit to Japan is part of the anniversary world tour for the 25th anniversary of the release of “IMAGES AND WORDS”. In 2016, the tour to completely reproduce the concept album “The Astonishing” became a big topic, and this tour is mainly about the complete reproduction of the album, which has already been highly praised by fans around the world. The show is divided into three parts, just like in other countries, with the first part being the “normal format”, the second part being the “complete reproduction of IMAGES AND WORDS”, and then the encore. The first part, like the normal concerts, is a selection from each album, roughly covering the repertoire from “TRAIN OF THOUGHT” to “THE ASTONISHING”. Among them, “Hell’s Kitchen” from “FALLING INTO INFINITY” is a super rare number that was only played a few times on the 1997 tour. Also, be sure to check out the insertion of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” into “As I Am”. The main second part, a complete reproduction of “IMAGES AND WORDS”, is led by an intro that time-warps 25 years, and proceeds in the order of the songs on the album. The magnificent and magnificent masterpieces are reproduced with 100% live sound, and the encore of the third part also features a full reproduction of the big song “A Change Of Season”, which is a great performance, and it’s nice that this song itself is the first full performance in 13 years. In any case, you can listen to all the songs on that masterpiece, and it is said to be the best act at the Japan tour, so it is a must-have limited edition memorial item for fans. Disc 1 : 01.
