Description
This is an experimental jazz sound source. The leader is trumpeter Don Cherry. If anything, he is a musician whose experimental attitude can be felt even though he is more highly regarded in Europe than in America. This time’s sound source is a performance with an African theme, and is a three-disc set from the first set to the third set. Although the main focus is on improvisation as a whole, it is done over repetitive African rhythms, so it is easy to listen to without being too free. Recommended for fans of spiritual, Afro rhythm, and African music. Oh, and of course it goes without saying for Don Cherry fans. Although it is credited with audience recording, considering the era, it can be called a board. Recorded Live at Pension Building, Washington DC, October 03, 1981 EX-Audience recording * 1st Generation Master Tape 163 min DISC 1 // First Set (4 Tracks) DISC 2 // First Set (3 Tracks), Second Set (2 Tracks ) DISC 3 // Third Set (5 Tracks)
