Here is a precious live recording of Dream Project, which was formed to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the birth of Miles and Coltrane, with virtuoso musicians such as Herbie Hancock, Michael Brecker, and Roy Hargrove. This is a full recording of their performance at the jazz festival held in Norway on July 17, 2002, after the release of the famous live album “Directions In Music”, which was digitally remastered in 2024 to the FM broadcast stereo soundboard master, and lasts for 1 hour and 47 minutes. The set progression is a perfect reproduction of “Directions In Music”, so Miles and Coltrane’s signature songs are played one after another, and they even performed “Pinoccchio” at the end. Incidentally, there is an official recording of the same project, but it was on a different day, so this wonderful performance, which can be said to be a valuable record, is here in official quality.
