Description
This work includes “May 29, 2005: ZEPP TOKYO performance”. This is a scene from the Japanese performance accompanying DIO’s final work “MASTER OF THE MOON”. There are three points to this work. The first is “DIO’s last stage performance in Japan”, the second is “golden set list”, and the third is “great sound”. First of all, regarding the first “DIO’s visit to Japan at the end of its life,” it is difficult to understand this unless you look at the history from a bird’s-eye view, so let’s first summarize the history of DIO’s visit to Japan.・1985: SUPER ROCK ’85 (1 performance) ・1986: SACRED HEART TOUR (7 performances) ・1987: JAPAN AID 2 (1 performance) “10 Years Gap” ・1997: ANGRY MACHINES TOUR (4 performances) )・2000: MAGICA TOUR (4 performances)《5 years gap》・2005: MASTER OF THE MOON TOUR (3 performances) ←★Here★・2006: LOUD PARK 06 (2 performances)《2007: HEAVEN & Last visit to Japan with HELL》 A total of 22 performances were held in 7 visits to Japan. There were two hiatuses, 10 years and 5 years, but in the end they came to Japan for 3 consecutive years, including HEAVEN & HELL. This work is the first visit to Japan in the “last three years”. And the second point is the “golden set list”. In fact, the set list was also very different during these “last three years.” 2007’s HEAVEN & HELL is of course only BLACK SABBATH. In 2006, for a short set performed at a festival, they concentrated their delicious points with a bold and huge medley. On the other hand, this work in 2005 is a normal style full scale show. Of course, there is a medley with the DIO stamp, but there are also plenty of solo songs. Moreover, the range of the repertoire is wide, and the major song “The Last In Line”, which was not played in 2006, and the late representative songs “Killing The Dragon” and “Shivers” are also being performed. And, to top it all off, they performed “Stargazer” for the first time since RAINBOW, and “Gates Of Babylon”, which was released for the first time in Japan! 21st Century DIO actively reprinted songs that fans wanted, but even “Gates Of Babylon”, which was never realized with RAINBOW… The following year’s “Kill The King” in 2006 was also impressive, but the impact of the first live performance “Gates Of Babylon” was incomparable. During the performance, the audience was frozen as if they were in a bind, but at the ending, they instantly boiled over, shouting “Ronnie! Ronnie!”… This work contains 100 scenes of the shocking atmosphere at the scene. It can be fully captured in %. The final point is to create a clear, roaring sound that captures the feeling of the scene. Although the tone is audience-like enough to be called “just like a soundboard,” the clarity with almost no venue echo and the solid feel are comparable to line recordings. With that sound, all-time great songs and RAINBOW’s hidden treasures are played out one after another. Ronnie Dio visited Japan for three consecutive years in his later years. This work is a masterpiece that conveys that “last honeymoon” clearly and realistically. Live at Zepp Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan 29th May 2005 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1 1. Intro. 2.
