Description
From the 1990 “Lock Up The Wolves” US tour featuring Rowan Robertson, who became the guitarist of the glorious Dio at just 17 years old, the Minneapolis performance on August 28th was completely recorded with the best audience recording. In fact, there are surprisingly few sound sources from the 1990 tour, in which not only the guitar but also all the members were renewed and the lineup was refreshed. It can be said to be the gem that Dio fans have been waiting for. The wide and punchy sound is excellent for a 1990 audience recording, and you can enjoy the entire concert without stress. The live performance, which started with the new song Wild One, was a truly excellent change from the standard set, including the “Lock Up The Wolves” number exclusive to this tour, and Man On The Silver Mountain in the first half of the show. ~Tarot Woman(!)~Stargazer~Long Live Rock’n’Roll followed by a deadly rainbow medley, and in the second half you can hear Egypt’s revival. Furthermore, on this day, Geezer Butler appears in the encore, and the appearance is luxurious with a nice bonus of playing Neon Knights at We Rock’s position. The heavy drums of former AC/DC member Simon Wright and the excellent performance of former Yngwie keyboardist Jans Johansen are top-notch, allowing you to enjoy the high-quality performance of a super band made up of highly skilled performers. Rowan’s reputation as a guitarist is uncertain, but his original performance, which skillfully mixed the young, fearless and aggressive play of this period, the fast playing with many notes, and the classic taste typical of a British player, is extremely (The guitar solo time also shows off some great playing.) The incredible performance by all members of Stand Up And Shout is a must-see for all hard rock fans! The title track Lock Up The Wolves, played in the middle, is one of the highlights. The part in the second half with a series of angry songs is a masterpiece. Amidst the storm of emotion, Neon Knights, including the aforementioned Geezer, brings this dramatic show to an exhilarating end. The definitive version with precisely adjusted pitch.
