Description
After producing “LAST IN LINE” in 1984, DIO began the “LAST IN LINE” tour, starting with an appearance at the “Pink Pop Festival” held in the Netherlands on June 11 of the same year. From the first leg of the North American tour, which took place from July to the end of August, the band will show off their wonderful performances at arena-class venues. From the end of August, they will be embarking on a European tour with the return of their swords. Here too, they had an unrivaled momentum in various places, including the German version of “Monsters of Rock” on September 1st and 2nd, and a successful UK tour that included three successive performances at London’s “Hammersmith Odeon”. . As the final stage of the European tour, a 7-concert German tour will begin with the Hamburg performance on October 21st (the Essen performance on October 29th, included in the CD title “LAST STAND IN GERMANY”, is the final day in Germany). . In this work, the second performance in Stuttgart is recorded with high-quality audience shots. You can thoroughly enjoy the stage from that time with stable video and audio. The shot captures a clear panoramic view of the stage from the second floor seat on the right hand side facing the stage. Although the materials look about 30 years old in some places, the sharpness, color, and brightness of the screen, as well as the sound, are all of a high standard. In the pitch-black venue, the opening scene features an Egyptian-style stage set accompanied by majestic background music, vividly conveying the expectations of the audience. From “Stand Up And Shout”, where expectations and excitement suddenly spark, fans will be glued to the band’s performance. The pyro explosion used in the song is also impressive. Even if you don’t know the songs, DIO’s live performance from that time will make you think it’s fun and amazing! “Don’t Talk To Strangers” is the highlight of the first half, with Ronnie’s performance that excites the fans who filled the venue and moves him vertically and horizontally. Furthermore, in “Egypt (The Chains Are On)”, as the name suggests, a stage set imitating Egypt will liven up the mood of the live performance. The medley from “Holy Diver” to “Heaven And Hell” to “The Last In Line” is amazing just by playing it, but the video will make you feel its charm several times more! In the second half of “Rainbow In The Dark,” you can’t miss the scene where Ronnie spreads out a banner with the band logo given to him by a fan. From the RAINBOW medley of “Man On The Silver Mountain” and “Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll” to the climax of “We Rock” and “The Mob Rules,” fans can’t take their eyes off the screen for even a second! In addition to Ronnie, who plays an active role throughout the film, fans can enjoy the finely honed guitar playing of the youthful Vivian, the thunderous drumming of Vinnie Appice, and the active bass of Jimmy Bain, making fans listen to each player’s playing. I think you can enjoy this work over and over again just by following along. This work is approximately 82 minutes long and is a must-see for fans, visually complementing the definitive version of “LAST STAND IN GERMANY” recorded by the audience at the same time. It comes with an original menu exclusive to this work, and we are happy to announce its release! Live at Boblingen Sporthalle, Stuttgart, Germany 23rd October 1984 AMAZING-SHOT!!! 1. Intro. 2.
