Description
We present you with a stereo soundboard album recorded during the “EUPHORIA TOUR”. This work was recorded on “July 26, 1999 in New York City”. It is a recording of an appearance on the famous American program “VH1 STORYTELLERS”. Here, let’s imagine the position from the whole world tour. [1999] May 29th + June 7th: North America #1 (2 performances) {“EUPHORIA” released on June 8th} July 3rd – September 16th: North America #2 (43 performances) ←★Here★ September 24th – October 4th: Japan (8 performances) October 12th – 31st: UK / Middle East (11 performances) December 4th – 31st: North America #3 (8 performances) [2000] January 2nd – February 29th: North America #4 (31 performances) July 20th – September 30th: North America #5 (48 performances) This is the whole picture of “EUPHORIA TOUR”. The “VH1 STORYTELLERS” appearance of this work took place between the 9th and 10th performances, between “North America #2” before the Japanese performance. This show is not a regular concert, but a special performance for the program. After Alanis Morissette, they appeared and first performed three acoustic songs. After that, they performed eight electric songs in response to fan requests. This work is a broadcast sound source that allows you to enjoy the whole story with a superb stereo sound board. It is a type that is delicious to be called official class because of the rawness of the recording. Such a work has a completely different mood from a normal concert. Because the three acoustic songs are direct sound boards, you can feel the closeness of touching with your whole body, and there is plenty of intimacy in responding to requests while talking with excited fans. Joe Elliott makes jokes to make the fans laugh, saying, “Is it your birthday? What’s your name?” and sings a birthday song. I really envy the fans at the scene. This work is a touching sound board that is close to the fans, as opposed to the main press of the pro shot that explodes the royal DEF LEPPARD section towards a large crowd. Both are beautiful and powerful, and are filled with their music and feelings for the fans. These are two superb recordings that capture the full atmosphere of the EUPHORIA era.
