Description
The impact of the historic discovery of “UK 8 TRACK” once again. Last year, the shocking work “MADE IN JAPAN: UK 8 TRACK STEREO CARTRIDGE” brought to light the highest peak sound that no one had ever heard of, and ended the long-standing “quest for the highest peak of masterpieces”. No one could have imagined that the “UK 8-Tora Cartridge” was not only extremely rare, but that it also contained some of the best-ever sounds and different mix takes. It was a piece that came out of the blue. However, “MADE IN JAPAN” was not the only song released in the “UK version 8 tigers”. This work is an 8-track version of “MACHINE HEAD”, which was also released from “UK PURPLE RECORDS”. It is the studio’s best masterpiece version of that shocking work. The 8-tora cartridge was enclosed in a gold package with “The Biggest Sound Around” proudly printed on it. We have also posted photos, but this is the actual item. This work is a CD that has been precisely made from this actual item. The important thing is the sound, but before that the recorded content is also different. The recording format and time are different between the analog LP and the 8-tora cartridge, and the order of the songs has been changed accordingly. First, let’s take a look at its overview. Highway Star Smoke On The Water (Part 1) Smoke On The Water (conclusion) Lazy Space Truckin’ Pictures Of Home Maybe I’m A Leo Never Before It has been adjusted to be a little less than 10 minutes long, and ” The reality of 1972 comes to mind in the dynamic way in which “Smoke On The Water” is divided into two parts. In this work, the historical cartridge itself is made into a CD, and a bonus “fixed version” is included, which is a seamless re-editing of “Smoke On The Water”, which was split at the end. Now, let’s get to the main topic. The most important sound is the sound, but this is something completely different. It seems that there is no mix difference like that of “MADE IN JAPAN”, but the feel is comparable to that. The unique, thick sound of 8-tora tape, which is different from both LP and CD, roars, but the details are delicate. And the natural “ringing” that doesn’t feel like any post-processing is wonderful. It has the luster of an indescribably vintage “1972” feel, but it also has an unusually vivid freshness. Is it the bass that is particularly shocking? For example, if you compare it to the current 40th anniversary edition (of course, it’s the original MIX), there isn’t as much digital sharpness, but the bass line still stands out beautifully. In parts such as “Highway Star” where the guitar and organ play in unison, even in the 40th anniversary edition, the focus is on chords, making the outline unclear, but in this work, even in such casual parts, the lines are clearly recognizable. The attack sound itself is more flashy on the 40th anniversary edition, and this work doesn’t have that artificiality. Despite this, this work is more vivid. Of course, this beauty can be expressed not only in the bass, but also in all instruments and all parts. The rise of the sound is not sharp, but it is clear, and the sound is so clear that you can almost feel the “vibe”. Yet, it is completely natural and full of the same tactile realism as “MADE IN JAPAN: UK 8 TRACK STEREO CARTRIDGE”… Exactly. It is “MACHINE HEAD” that I have never heard before. Although it’s not as surprising as “MADE IN JAPAN” which even had a mix difference, the unknown “The Biggest Sound Around” is still a tremendous shock. This week, the exquisite “MACHINE HEAD”, which even core enthusiasts didn’t even know existed, will appear this week. A great masterpiece of the century that will charm you with a new expression even after 45 years.
