Description

Deep Purple has become a band with a history of 50 years since their debut. After disbanding in 1976, they reunited in 1984 and are one of the rare bands that has undergone repeated member changes and is still touring as an active band. There are many members who were once members of the band, and some former members have already become demons, which seems to be a testament to the band’s long history. This work is from the 1973 tour of the second period of Deep Purple, in which Ian Gillan takes vocals, and includes the performance in Genoa, Italy, on March 11, 1973. This day marks the final day of the four-day concert in Italy. It is interesting that Jon Lord improvises Beethoven’s “Für Elise” and other phrases that show a glimpse of his musical background one after another.
