Description
This work includes “July 12, 1984 Allentown Performance”. This is an 8mm film recorded after the 11th show at Universal City. This video is a master released by Harvested and was shot by John Witmer. The quality is the highest level as an audience video at that time. Although each video is short since it is 8mm, the image quality far exceeds VHS, and the colors are vivid and the details are super clear. With Harvested, the parts without video are supplemented with still images, and the still images are as good as professional photos. And the audio is also superb. This Allentown performance is also known for being broadcast on FM. This work is synchronized with the official soundboard, and you can enjoy the three songs “Money”, “Run Like Hell” and “Comfortably Numb”. Since the last song “Murder” was not broadcast on FM, it is the original audio of 8mm, but you can witness the tour up close with a total of 4 songs and about 16 minutes. The stage drawn with that quality is precious and the best. Gilmore’s facial expressions and fingering are perfect as he watches from a close seat. The close-up solo part of “Money” is delicious, but the twin solo with Mick Ralphs in the second half is a must-see! You can enjoy the stage light production during “Run Like Hell”. The twin vocals with bassist Mickey Feet are so powerful because of the zoom. The 80’s-esque actions and solos with Greg Deshart’s shoulder keyboard are also a highlight. And “Comfortably Numb” is a song that surprises with Harvested’s careful editing techniques. There are some major cuts in the middle, but the editing is skillful and flows naturally. Mickey’s vocals at the beginning are a powerful scene, and Gilmore’s long solo part in the second half is impressively captured in a wonderful video. The sound fixes and synchronization, as well as the video processing that goes with it, are of an extremely high level, and the technology and sense they have are poured into them, and the spirit of “leaving something good for posterity” oozes out from the screen. Furthermore, this work even comes with a bonus video that clearly conveys the design. There is an additional video that explains the production process in three parts, and you can clearly see how it was upgraded from the original video. The work itself is a video that can be entertaining. This is a masterpiece of recorded video created by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. Featuring excerpts from 1. Money 2. Run Like Hell 3.
