From the 2006 summer European tour accompanying “On An Island”, a video title has been released that completely records the Florence performance on August 2nd with the highest level of audience footage for 2 hours and 42 minutes. Although it is a handheld camera video, it is recorded with surprisingly clear image quality and audio, making it one of the highest quality contents of the 2006 tour. Not only Gilmore’s delicious guitar and vocals, but also the performances of the backing staff including Rick Wright are clearly recorded, allowing fans to enjoy a blissful time. Gilmore’s long guitar solo, illuminated by mainly white lights, is truly exquisite. Of course, there is the highly enjoyable “On An Island” suite, as well as the dynamic performances of Floyd classics Astronomy Domine and Fat Old Sun, as well as the moody “Division Bell” songs such as Coming Back To Life and High Hopes.
