Description
From the “ZIGGY STARDUST UK TOUR” that started in February 1972, the performance at Kingston Polytechnic in London on May 6th was in master quality, which was amazing at the time. This show, which recorded an exciting and wonderful performance, is a sound source that has been familiar to enthusiasts since the analog boot era, but this time, for the first time, a 79-minute recording take with accurate pitch is available. Good recordings of the 1972 tour are limited, and the Santa Monica performance of the American tour after Mike Garson participated on piano and the Pirate Cove performance are excellent recordings, but up to September 1972 There is absolutely no excellent sound source from the UK tour during the four-piece formation period, and there is no doubt that this title will be the definitive version of this period. Another point is that the rare Gotta Get A Job is played. The lively and sharp young Bowie and band’s performance unique to this period gives you a strong sense of groove and sharpness from beginning to end, and the 80 minutes pass quickly. In terms of sound quality, it is recorded with tight, dynamic, high-quality sound with excellent separation, comparable to that famous album “ZIGGY STARDUST JAPAN TOUR”. There is some disturbance in the sound image in the intro, but it transforms into perfect sound quality in about 40 seconds after starting. A highly recommended piece.
