Description
From the original cassette series, which has been a huge hit since 2015 as a memorial item for Bowie, here is a title that recorded a live performance at Yokohama Stadium on October 25th from the completely unreleased 1983 Japan tour. First of all, it was a time when Bowie gained explosive popularity in general with the big hit of “Let’s Dance” and his appearance in the movie “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence”. Therefore, this third visit to Japan was a packed schedule of 10 performances in 12 days. The live performance in Yokohama on the 5th day was recorded for 114 minutes from a completely debut sound source that has never been released before, whether on analog or CD. The sound is like a direct-connected sound board, which is the highest peak of “Kinney Magic”, and the audience noise is also recorded in a wonderful balance. In terms of performance, the band will play four songs from “Let’s Dance” – “Let’s Dance”, “Cat People (Putting Out Fire)”, “China Girl” and “Modern Love”, and their past repertoire will have a danceable finish that is unique to this period, even the soulful “Heroes” will have a sharp and danceable arrangement. Also, be sure to check out the four encore songs “Star”, “Stay”, “The Jean Genie” and “Modern Love” that were not included in the official video “SERIOUS MOONLIGHT”. Disc 1 : 1. Pre-Show 2. Intro 3.
