Description

Another “Isolar” tour sound source that will be released at the same time as the famous Springfield performance, which was held under tense circumstances, will be the Dusseldorf performance on April 8th. Bowie and his group, who completed their American tour at Madison Square Garden, which I mentioned in Springfield, will now start a European tour after two weeks off. Speaking of the European leg of the “Isolar” tour, there was “ROTTERDAM 1976″ which was a masterpiece of the sound board and has been sold out for a long time, but other than that, I feel that the release of items has decreased noticeably in recent years. In order to overcome this situation, we have released audience albums such as “COPENHAGEN 1976” and “PARIS 1976 2ND NIGHT” that moved fans to tears. Of course, all of them were complete recordings of the show, but this time in Dusseldorf, recording started from the middle of “Word On A Wing”, and as a result it was compact enough to fit on one disc. In addition, there are weak cuts in the songs towards the end of the live performance. In other words, it will be an incomplete recording. Still, there’s a reason why it’s being released this time. First of all, the sound quality is better than the two European items listed earlier. Not only is it a stereo recording audience (although it was the same in Copenhagen), but the sound image of the performance is closer than those. Although it is not as close as a sound board, it is very easy to hear the sound image that can be enjoyed at a reasonable distance in addition to the wide feeling unique to stereo recording. This day’s performance is what makes this sound quality so appealing. All of the European items that have been released so far, including the soundboard Rotterdam, captured the pattern from the middle of the tour onwards. On the other hand, this is an unprecedented time as it is the second day of the European tour. The items from the middle of those tours conveyed a sense of maturity and high degree of completion, but the atmosphere in Dusseldorf this time was completely different. They are full of joy as they have finally started a European tour, which was not possible during the Ziggy and Soul eras, after a fresh start from America where they had trouble getting arrested at the end of the tour. It is clear that this is reflected in the performance, and while Springfield had a ferocious tension, this one is full of momentum, and the light performance shines. The fact that “Stay”, which was played in the United States in such a shabby atmosphere, is being played so cheerfully is unique to the early stage of the tour, which was a fresh start. This momentum continues until the end, and it is a masterpiece that allows you to listen to it without worrying about the weak cuts that occur in the songs at the end of the live performance. If you are a maniac who has listened to this refreshing momentum, especially the Rotterdam sound board, you will definitely see a fresh atmosphere. And for this release, we thoroughly adjusted the pitch deviation, which was extremely unstable even though it was a good audience that was easy to listen to. The finish is satisfying for enthusiasts, as it is much easier to listen to than the versions circulating among traders. This is a lighthearted masterpiece from the early stages of Europe, which is a counterpart to Springfield, which was a touch-and-go event!
