Description

A complete soundboard-level audience recording of the Atlanta performance on October 10, midway through the US tour, from the world tour accompanying the controversial 1997 “Earthling” that boldly introduced drum and bass. . The sound pressure and power of the DAT recording is amazing, and it’s at a level that makes you feel like you’re watching a live performance right in front of your eyes. First of all, the backing is a four-piece group familiar from the latter half of OUTSIDE TOUR, including Reeves Gabrels, who overwhelms everyone who listens to it with his phantasmagoric guitar, and the harmonious band play honed during the long tour throughout the album. Show off. The exciting sound that boldly introduced electronics became a hot topic, and is still frequently played today, such as I’m Afraid Of Americans, Looking For Satellites, and even the spacey Little Wonder, which can be said to be the album’s signature song, “Earthling”. Plenty of recorded numbers. From the opening with the acoustic Quicksand and then Supermen, to the ending of Fame, White Light, and White Heat, the set list of 19 songs is a good mix of old and new, and is worth listening to throughout. Disc 1 : 1. Quicksand 2. The Supermen 3. Waiting For The Man 4. My Death 5. The Jean Genie 6. I’m Afraid Of Americans 7. Look Back In Anger 8. Seven Years In Tibet 9. Strangers When We Meet 10.
