Description
The 1990 “SOUND & VISION” world tour was held in North America, and the San Diego performance on September 27th was recorded almost completely with soundboard recordings from the radio on-air master. From the opening “Space Oddity” to the final “Jean Genie” medley, the tour was limited to a minimal band lineup, but the tight band sound by the members with outstanding skills was overwhelming, and the fulfilling ensemble perfected by the long tour made every song worth listening to. The best band sound reproduces Bowie’s classics with a vivid and clear tone, and Adrian Belew’s playing, who is familiar from the 1978 “Low & Heroes” tour, is a must-listen item as it is a set that recalls the performance in Japan four months ago.
