From the 1974 “Diamond Dog Tour”, the Los Angeles performance on September 5th is almost completely recorded with soundboard sound source from Low Generation Master. Since it is originally a sound source famous for its ultra-high quality sound board, its quality is guaranteed. And from this tour, there is an official live album called “DAVID LIVE” that recorded the Philadelphia performance, but it is an edited version of five performances from July 8th to 12th, and it is said that there were problems even on the day of the recording, so the content is not so good. However, this Los Angeles performance was about two months later, the backing performance became tighter, and Bowie’s vocal style also changed, and this second leg opened with a seven-day performance at the Universal Amphitheater, and this show is the fourth day of that. Also, this was the transitional period between the Diamond Dog tour and the Soul and Philly Dog tours that followed, and there were some changes to the set list, with the addition of “It’s Gonna Be Me” and “John, I’m Only Dancing,” giving it a very different impression from the official version.
