In 1975, the San Diego performance on December 20th from the US tour accompanying “Split Coconut” was recorded as an ultra-high quality stereo soundboard recording. It is a live performance from the same period as the masterpiece “Certified Live” which was released the following year and became a huge hit, and is another excellent title that is sure to become a standard among fans as “Certified Live”. You can enjoy the gorgeous 80 minutes in the highest sound quality, including 3 songs that have not yet been released on the official live album: Waitin’ On You, Split Coconut, and Headkeeper. From the opening number, Feelin’ Alright, a hit song from the Traffic era, the entire band’s performance is full of groove, and is a great 13-minute performance, interspersed with acoustic songs such as World In Changes and Every Woman.Look At You, Look At The flow in the middle of the song as it enters Me is the best. Dave Mason’s delicious vocals and flowing guitar solos are wonderful, creating a wonderful drama in various places. Furthermore, the performance of the backing team, including another guitarist Jim Krueger and keyboardist Mike Finnigan, was also excellent, and it is clear that they were in the best condition as a live band. The thrilling All Along The Watchtower and the familiar Gimme Some Lovin’ and Bring It On Home To Me at the end are powerful and indescribable, filled with an overwhelming sense of groove.
