Description
On July 30, 2017, the first show in Tokyo was recorded in full from the digital audience master from the front row. The sound, which has been digitally remastered from the familiar MK4 audience master of the label’s original, has been dramatically improved in terms of the equipment used and the mastering environment, which are important factors that affect the sound quality, and this time it is at the same quality as a leaked soundboard sound source. Speaking of Danny Kortchmar, as a craftsman guitarist, he has supported many big artists such as Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Don Henley, and Carole King, and has accompanied them on many visits to Japan. He also released a great solo album in the 1970s and is a guitarist with a strong fan base in Japan. This time, he came to Japan with his friends, including Steve Postell, a guitarist with a craftsmanship that is no less than Danny, Jeff Young, the current keyboardist of the Jackson band, Bob Glaub, the bassist, and Steve Holley, the former drummer of Wings. The songs he performed were mainly songs that Danny participated in on albums by Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Don Henley, and others. The second half of the set was also partially changed from the second show on the same day, and it is worth checking out the fact that he only played CCR’s “Born On The Bayou” here. This is his career summary live show. Disc 1 :1. Intro 2. Too Many Irons In The Fire [The Fabulous Thunderbirds] 3. Shaky Town [Jackson Browne] 4. 3:45 Coming Through [Steve Postell] 5.
