Description
A rare recording of a London performance from the 1981 tour after the release of “The Black Album” in good stereo audience recording! A rare recording of a live performance held at the Lyceum Ballroom in London on July 5, 1981 from the European tour held after the release of the famous 4th album “The Black Album”! Recorded from the low gene master, the vocals and each part are well balanced, and the pitch, which was significantly out of sync in the master, has been carefully corrected. The live performance on the 12th of the same month was recorded on the regular 5-CD “NOISE NOISE NOISE” which compiled the live recordings from this period, but this is a live performance one week before that. The set list features four songs from the “Black Album”, including “Hit Or Miss”, which was also included in the Christmas single released in November of the previous year, and you can’t miss the three songs “Hit Or Miss”, “Wait For The Blackout”, and “Lively Arts” that were not included in the live recording on the 12th! Other highlights include a faster version of their early hit “Neat Neat Neat” with a drum solo inserted, and the last track, a cover of MC5’s “Looking At You,” which was included as a B-side on the Christmas single. This is a killer item with plenty of highlights!
