Description
The band reunited in 2008 and successfully performed in Japan in January 2009. The first day of the four-day UK tour in October 2009, the live performance at the Stables in Milton Keynes on October 20th, is recorded in full in high quality audience recording from the original DAT master. The band performed a wonderful concert for 1 hour and 46 minutes in front of enthusiastic British fans, and the set, like the previous live performance, featured a number of representative songs from their new self-cover album “Reborn” one after another. In particular, Sonya’s rich vocals, which show no signs of aging, and Daryl Way’s powerful violin playing, which greatly impressed fans at the Japanese performance, were impressive, and the ensemble was more cohesive than the one-off live performance the previous year, and they performed a wonderful performance throughout the entire show. Also played were Propositions from “Airconditioning,” Easy and The Purple Speed Queen from “Air Cut,” and Woman On A One Night Stand from “Midnight Wire,” which were not performed the previous year. The main set ended with Vivaldi, followed by a long violin solo that was a highlight. Sound quality-wise, this is the best re-arranged live album, and it’s the highest quality version! Disc 1 / 1.
