Description
This is a compilation of precious demo tracks from before their major debut in 1977 to 1986, all in master quality and soundboard quality. This is a chronological collection of demos and studio rehearsal takes from the production of their debut album to the hit single “Why Can’t I Be You”. Some of these have been included in DX editions and box sets, but this album mainly focuses on rare tracks that have not been officially released. This is a valuable record that looks back on Robert Smith’s history in the early 1980s until his big break with the album “KISS ME KISS ME KISS ME”. This rare collector’s edition will be sent to die-hard fans as a prototype of songs that have the unique gothic, swaying groove of the Cure. 01. Meathook (SAV Demo, London 10th October 1977)/02.
