Description
The legendary Cream breakup concert, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 26, 1968, is being released on DVD as a truly complete version. The official version of this breakup concert is called the “complete version”, and the recording time is 83 minutes, and it has been released on DVD and Blu-ray. It is said to contain all the sets played on the day, with interviews with the three members inserted in the latter half. However, this title can be said to have contents that go beyond the official version, first of all, it includes edited color footage that was recently excavated, and the video quality is much higher than the official version, and the sound quality is also better. It also includes a completely unreleased video part, and the official version of the first song “White Room” is the video of the first show, so this is the first time that the video of this second show will be released. The beginning of the performance of “Toad” and “Stepping Out”, which were not included in the official version, is also included. Until now, the beginning of the performance could not be seen because it was edited from the interview with Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton, but now it is recorded in full. In addition, the songs are recorded in the order of the set list played on that day, and it is clear that Clapton took off the orange double jacket he was wearing that day during Ginger’s drum solo in “Toad”. The final announcement of Clapton after the second encore “Stepping Out” and the scene where he puts down his guitar and leaves the stage were completely unreleased until now, and it seems strange that such important parts were cut. This true complete version video is a newly excavated color video master, the color video of the official release, and the black and white video broadcast on BBC4ch at the time, and a total of three types of video have been produced with professional editing, and it is of a level that would not be surprising if it was officially released. Finally, the cover also uses a rare photo from the day, which gives a real sense of the day, and once again, this legendary farewell live is a true complete version. 1. INTRODUCTION 2. WHITE ROOM 3.
