A powerful edition featuring a newly discovered master recording of the New Orleans performance at the beginning of the “Casbah Club US Tour” that started just a few days after Topper’s departure is now available! On May 20, 1982, the “Casbah Club US Tour” started just 9 days after the shocking fact that Topper left the band after their live show in the Netherlands.The “Casbah Club US Tour” was performed with original drummer Terry Chimes as support, and was a limited edition tour. It is known as a tour that left many great performances supported by wonderful drumming despite the long rehearsal period, but this work is a live performance held at The Warehouse in New Orleans on June 4th at the beginning of the tour. Introducing a new item completely recorded with high-quality stereo audience recording from a new excavation master! The sound source for this day was a distant audience recording, but the one used for this work is a completely different master, and the vocals and each part are recorded in a very well-balanced and clear manner, far superior to the existing master. Recorded with clear sound quality! The missing parts of the first few seconds of “London Calling” and the middle part of “Police And Thieves” at the beginning are filled in from the existing master. The set list includes rare numbers such as “Car Jamming” from the album “Combat Rock”, and the superb performance will be revived for a total of 24 songs and approximately 92 minutes!
