Description

This is a rare professional shot video of a live performance in Boston by the Red Bank Rockers, an R&B band formed by Clarence Clemons, who passed away suddenly in June, during the hiatus of the E Street Band in 1983. The live performance was broadcast on a local Boston station, but the magnificent R&B live performance will have you glued to your seat. However, even blues fans will enjoy the opening instrumental version of Bruce Springsteen’s “From Small Things” featuring Clarence’s saxophone, and the instrumental version of “Fire” in the second half of the show. However, the highlight is the hot stage, where lead vocalist JT Bowen sings soul classics such as “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” and “I Can’t Turn You Loose” with Clarence’s support, which is a rare scene that shows another side of him now. The promotional clip for the single “A Woman’s Got the Power” is played midway through, and Bruce appears in a small role, making for a video full of highlights.
