Description
Chuck Berry died at the age of 90 at his home near St. Louis, Missouri, in the Midwestern United States on March 18, 2017. While many people from around the world, including Mick Jagger and Keith, have sent tributes to him for establishing the style of rock and roll and having a huge influence on future guitarists, here are titles that contain performances from his later years. First, the footage of his appearance on the familiar TV program “AVO Session” recorded in Basel, Switzerland on November 13, 2007, is master quality, professional shot footage. In the second half, there is a good audience footage of a gig in his hometown of St. Louis on October 15, 2014, which will essentially be his last live performance. As bonuses, the DVD also includes TV news footage announcing the news of his death, and audience footage of five artists, including Bon Jovi and Red Hot Chili Peppers, who, upon learning of his death, performed his signature song “Johnny B. Goode” on stage, for a total of 2 hours and 37 minutes. Chuck also announced in October 2016 that he would be releasing his first album in 38 years, “Chuck,” in 2017, so that’s another interesting memorial requiem item. 01.Wee Wee Hours/02.Let It Rock/03.Memphis, Tennessee/04.Everyday I Have The Blues/05.You Never Can Tell/06.Carol/Little Queenie/07.My Ding-A-Ling/08.Around And Around/09.You Never Can Tell (Reprise)/10.Johnny B.
