Don Puren, Chico Freeman, Fred Hopkins, Bobby Battle recorded on April 16, 1978 at Barigozzi Studio on the prestigious Italian free jazz label Black Saint, and released the following year’s “Warriors”. Approximately 75 minutes of the live performance in Basel, Switzerland recorded on a stereo soundboard sound source. Don Puren released three albums with Black Saint from 1975 to 1979.
