Description
This is the first recording of the notable live performance held at London’s Royal Festival Hall on March 23rd from the electric band’s world tour accompanying the release of their fifth album “Venice the Mask” from the broadcast source. A live performance with a strong impact appeared. In the past four albums, the sound gradually changed to emphasize pop arrangements, and long-time fans were a little worried about the album “Venice the Mask” before its release. I’m sure many of you recall that such concerns were allayed after listening to the first song, and that the album was praised by critics as “the best work ever.” Not only their masterpiece album, but also their live performances were received with great acclaim all over the world, and tickets for all of their live performances were sold out. The highlight of the world tour was this London performance, which was broadcast on the British national broadcaster BBC. This time, it was recorded from a cassette tape that recorded the rare broadcast sound source, and the performance is so wonderful that the significance of discovering this sound source is immeasurable. In the studio recording, there were restrictions and editing, and the groove the band created was not very good, but when it was performed live, it was shocking with strange time signatures, amazing fast playing techniques, and overwhelming solo parts by the band members. A live show is being held. In the second half of the live performance, from “Spanish Sketch” to “Blues for Miles,” you can listen to a masterpiece that lasts over 20 minutes and also includes the meaning of Miles’s memory.
