Cheap Trick /UK 1979

The live performance in Liverpool on February 3rd, 1979, from the UK tour just before their second visit to Japan, was recorded on a soundboard from the local radio on-air master. Although it is not a complete recording because it is a broadcast recording, it is interesting that the selected numbers are not live standard numbers, especially in the period when they were at the height of their popularity with the famous live album “At Budokan”. There are many highlights, such as covers of “Let It Rock” and “Promised Land” with Dave Edmonds as a guest, and “Need Your Love” from “Dream Police” released in September of that year. 01.
